Blumat Watering System for House Plants

Blumat dispenses precisely the right amount of water which house plants require, irrespective of whether they are in sunny or shady location. The water is sucked in along a thin tube from your choice of receptacle and released to the plant through the clay cone / watering spike.

Simply attach the tube to the watering cone and place the other end into a water filled receptacle of your choice, this can be of any size to suit your watering requirements. Put the watering cone into the soil and it will slowly suck the right amount of water down the tube as the plants require it preventing the soil from drying out and safeguarding the plants.

Please be aware the ceramic cone (watering spike / clay cone) will release max 250ml water within 24 hours, therefore a 2 litre bottle will last for 8 days. For larger plant use more than one watering spike / watering cone or phone for our special product range.

The Blumat Bottle Adapter Watering Device Spike

With the simple to use Blumat Bottle Adapter you can attach the clay watering cones supplied to almost any plastic water bottle from 0.25 litre to 2.5 litres.

A simple watering device with a constant water release, specially designed for patio or garden plants. Once you have filled the bottle and attached the ceramic cone, prick a small hole in the base of the bottle and insert the cone into the soil, the porous cone will dispense approx. 250ml of water every 24 hours to water large flowers or for example tomato or cucumber plants.

The Bottle-Top Water Spike with adjustable dripper is a fully automatic watering system when fitted onto any plastic drinks bottle.

The unique adjustable water dripper cone screws onto the top of most disposable plastic drinks bottles from 250ml - 2.5litres.

The spike is placed vertically into the compost of hanging baskets, tubs, pots, growbags or any other container that would benefit from a 'Fill it & Leave it' automatic watering system.

One filling lasts 1 - 3 weeks

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Simply fit the clay feed tube to the cap.

2. Fill a plastic bottle with water and put the watering device (watering spike) onto the neck.

3. Insert the watering spike into the soil with the water bottle upside down.

4. Put a airhole on the bottle and the watering device which will adjust the flow of water.

2. Even moisture - when you use traditional methods of watering you can easily add too much water to your plant. The plant will have the right amount of water all of the time. No over watering possible with this watering spike.

3. Adding Plant Food - Add the liquid Travena Plant Food (AlgaFriend) into the water into the plastic bottle and shake to mix with the water. Use only liquid fertiliser, to avoid blocking of the watering cone.

Watering spikes / cones are useful for smaller pot plants, growbags, hanging baskets, shallow rooted plants.
The watering devices are also ideal for larger pot plants, outdoor beds, vegetable patches, larger hanging baskets, 'flower pouches' 'flower towers', deep rooted plants, - use indoors, outdoors, and in the greenhouse.
